I have many reasons to proudly support the Chandler School override election.  Pat, my wife, and I have made Chandler our home for 35 years.   As parents, we choose to enroll our three children into Chandler public schools.  Our children received an outstanding education and all were well prepared to excel in higher education environments.  I have participated in numerous school functions and events and I am delighted to say that the Chandler staff and faculty are first rate.  This override will allow CUSD to continue to make up for the lack of state funding and continue to keep our competitive edge to attract and retain outstanding teachers who produce outstanding results.  

As a former Chandler City Council member, I can personally attest that a primary reason companies are willing to locate in Chandler is because of our top rated education system.  For our business community, in particular our high technology companies to be successful, they must have a well-educated local talent pool of people to support their work force.  CUSD contributes greatly to that goal.

As a tax payer, this override will take effect with NO increase to our property tax.
